Which plan should I pick? +
It mostly comes down to how many people are using the connection and what you do online. EconoFibre 100 is great if you live alone or with one other person and mostly browse, stream, or work from home lightly. Fibre 500 is the sweet spot for busy households. Fibre 900 is for heavy users who want the absolute maximum speed for gaming, 4K streaming, and fast uploads.
Do you use Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT)? +
No. Every Mythical Fibre connection gets a sticky public IP address — no shared IPs, no CGNAT. This means port forwarding, game hosting, remote access, and IP cameras all work exactly as you'd expect.
Can I set up port forwarding? +
Yes. Because we don't use CGNAT and every connection has a sticky public IP, you can configure port forwarding on your own router for servers, cameras, game hosting, and remote access. Check your router's manual for the exact steps.
Can you recommend a modem or router? +
Yes. We recommend the Ubiquiti UniFi UDR7 Dream Router 7 — it's a great match for Mythical Fibre with 10G WAN support, built-in WiFi 7, and excellent performance. If you're running a UniFi router, you can also add Mythical Fibre as your ISP inside the UniFi dashboard to help monitor your connection stats and performance. Most modern routers with a WAN/internet port will work fine too.
What is an ONT? +
An ONT (Optical Network Terminal) is the small box installed at your property that converts the fibre optic light signal into a connection your router can use. It's usually installed on an exterior wall by your network provider during the fibre installation.
